I know this has been mentioned on Twitter but as there doesn't seem to be a thread on here. I just watched the most recent programme with a friend and we were both just so moved. It is the woman who lost facial features due to an illness. I know what it is like to worry about your looks holding you back, really such a delightful and inspirational woman. Beautiful in the true sense of the word. It was amazing seeing her happy after when she was crying earlier, made me weep too. All the suffering and nastiness in the world then you hear about someone like this. Really made me think.

I thought she was amazing, so positive after everything that had happened.

She's a very vibrant person so easy to admire. Without knowing her and judging her as how she was on the programme I don't think she is a hard person to find attraction for

The last post is bang on, watching the show after the first few minutes of her on screen and once her personality shone through the damage to her face just became irrelevant. Any real man would have not struggle to be attracted to her. Her date was a lovely chap I hope it ends well for them.

There is a thread in Telly Addicts about the show in general. Consensus there is she's pretty amazing. I agree with all the comments on here.

Yes to all the above. Very thoughtful posts. It has really made me think about the nature of attraction. Her voice and the obvious depth of the love she has to give just shine through. And Gary was right such beautiful, slightly shy eyes. You hear and read so much about people disdaining others for this and that physical characteristic-too fat/short/bad teeth whatever which when you think about it is appallingly judgemental and plain nasty. But watching this woman has really rebooted my brain. It is like because she is so likeable and a little bit fragile behind all the strength you work harder to see the attractiveness, which when it then hits you is 1000 times more powerful than the usual mmm yes..quite fancy. stuff.
