Sharing a bed...

Sorry if this is a bit of a weird post but I am hoping someone out there can identify.
Other than a few short relationships, I have been single for over three years. I have now met someone with whom things are progressing. However... whenever he stays over or when we have been in a hotel, I have barely slept a wink and I don't mean because we have been at it like rabbits. I mean I find it impossible to fall into a deep sleep with him next to me. It's nothing to do with him-he doesn't snore and I feel really comfortable around him but I am the world's lightest sleeper as it is. I have a kingsize bed and we are both slim so it's not an issue of room.
I would like him to start staying over more but I need my sleep. I work full time and have two children!

My DH was like this when we first met OP....he got used to it. Things which might help you are to have a shower before bed...no caffeine.

Hi OP
I am in exactly the same position as you. I'm in a new relationship with a lovely man I'm completely comfortable with & he has no trouble sleeping. I lay there for hours trying to nod off. With me it's because I've been single for several years & am just not used to sharing my bed with anyone! Try Night Nurse...it knocks me out completely!

I'm like this. It takes me such a long time to get used to someone in my bed.
