I just feel really really low this week, I'm bursting into tears at the drop of a hat.

XP left me in April but I was doing fine. Happy alone, then moving on and dipping my toe into OLD this last month or so.

Met someone quite nice, been on a few dates but I just keep bursting into tears. Now we've had a massive argument and I can't even tell if I'm at fault or he is.

I assume this means I'm not ready to move on. But I don't know when I will as XP and I were pretty much separated for a year before he finally went again 7 months ago.

Life just seems really shit right now. And I just don't know how to make it feel better.

Sorry you're feeling so low. How long were you and ex together?

Maybe the dating thing was just a bit too soon, and you've not realised til now?

Eleven years.

I think that must be it. I've been crying on and off all week even when it was going well with the newbie.

I just don't know what to do with myself and I'm dreading bedtime as that's the worst.

I found the first couple of periods of dating post separation were more about learning about myself again rather than the other person. Liking back they were quite formative and clarifying though quite hard at the time. It will her better
