Just stinging from a breakup and was wondering what people's favourite words of wisdom or sayings were to make them feel better or the ones that stand out as being completely true?

One of mine is "what's for you won't go by you"

Never apologise, never explain: those against you won't believe you but your friends already know.

This rang true for me when my first marriage ended some years ago.

When a person tells you that you hurt them, you don't get to decide that you didn't.

Mine's a song. It gives me a sense of perspective when things are shite and helps me see the bigger picture.
