Can someone please pass me a grip and tell me this was just an error/oversight?

Many years ago I was in a relationship with a man I thought and expected that I'd marry. We both lived away from our home countries at the time but when time came to leave and I had to return to the UK and him to his home country he broke up with me. He told me at the time that he loved me but we needed to move on. I was angry and bitter over this as I thought that if it's true love then distance doesn't necessarily matter. We split and never spoke or saw each other again.

Fast forward to now, many years later. I recently received a notification from FB that he'd liked one of my pictures. When I logged on it seems the 'like' has now vanished. To clarify, we are not FB friends and never have been. But there's no mistaking that it's him in his profile. I'm now thinking that perhaps he wants to get in touch to catch up but I know that what most likely happened is that he was doing a bit of FB stalking and accidentally liked the picture. Nothing more, nothing less.

Best make your settings as private as possible so he can't see anything.

Definitely stalking. when I went on a date with a friend of friend a while back one of his ex girlfriends (never met her, not a FB friend) 'liked' one of my photos, quite embarrassing for her really !
