EA husband and counselling/therapy

Has anyone had an EA husband/partner go to counselling or therapy and have a positive result? I have read many posts on this board and the general consensus seems to be very negative, doom and gloom, they cannot change. Anyone got any good news??

Yes. It seems to be a work in progress and has turned out to be far more complex than first thought.

So not a happy ending as such, but not gloom and doom either. It will be a long, long and very painful process too.
