I left my husband almost 2 years ago due to his drinking and gambling causing money issues. Has anyone gone back to a relationship from a previous situation and it been successful. We have a lil boy nearly 4, do wonder if family life right for him

It would only have a chance of success if your OH had changed his life around and had stopped drinking and gambling, has he?

Good grief don't have another baby yet.
I would suggest starting things off slowly.
Start dating etc. and see how it goes.
He may SAY he has stopped all this stuff.
Have you seen his bank balance?
Is he out of gambling debt now?
Does he have a debt management plan if not.
How long has he been sober?
Did he go to AA or GA?
How did he suddenly become 'cured'???

Please don't be seduced by his offer. You have came so far. You won't get your fairytale ending.

By all means if you really must, date him but do not give up your home etc to have another child with him.
