I saw a thread either yesterday or the day before about things found on your other halfs phone, I looked at the websites on my own phone and my DP probably wouldn't know what half of it meant.

Do i just randomly tell her and try to explain or what? It's business and private but she just doesn't have a clue and as far as she has told me doesn't care.
Should I try to explain ASAP or not and maybe she will check my phone or maybe she won't.
I really don't want her to check my phone, see some weird shit and presume I'm cheating.
I'm not sure what I'm asking but fuck, I'm not cheating on her.

I'm not entirely sure.

CatMilkMan Mon 17-Aug-15 23:45:37

DP doesn't appear to care about anything outside the UK , should I tell her anyway or leave her in her happy ignorance? Should I push it on to her? Or let her decide what she knows?

MillieGreenEyes Mon 17-Aug-15 23:46:49

wtf are you on about?

Footle Mon 17-Aug-15 23:47:08

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

MagalyMaman Mon 17-Aug-15 23:47:46

leave her ignorant of what ??

FortyCoats Mon 17-Aug-15 23:49:01

grin you're funny.

Now, what's the encryption password?!

MagalyMaman Mon 17-Aug-15 23:50:52

So basically, You have visited dodgy sites on your phone (dating sites? tinder? porn?) and you want to know how to clear your history on the off chance that your partner checks your phone. At the moment she is happily ignorant you say, but you also say you are not cheating!? OF What is it that she's happily ignorant?

CatMilkMan Mon 17-Aug-15 23:51:59

My DP wouldn't give a shit about my messages but they are important.just not to her. Maybe I'm making a mistake.

DragonsCanHop Mon 17-Aug-15 23:52:07

What are you worried about?

CatMilkMan Mon 17-Aug-15 23:54:46

I feel like I'm going crazy, i haven't cheated and she knows she can check everything just not my mobile which is the point.

You know that part in Finding Nemo when those fish are in the tank and one of them is called Deb and she talks to another fish all the time named Flo who is actually not another fish but Deb's reflection in the glass?

This feels like that.

DragonsCanHop Tue 18-Aug-15 00:01:39

Do you thinks he will check your phone? Does she trust you?

MagalyMaman Tue 18-Aug-15 00:02:15

Maybe you are going crazy catmilkman. Your problem here seems to be that somebody may discover something that hasn't happened.

NerrSnerr Tue 18-Aug-15 00:05:18

Um. What? Guess it depends what websites you've been on.

FunnyNameHere Tue 18-Aug-15 00:15:33

This sounds dodgy.

Onepot Tue 18-Aug-15 00:19:08

What kind of 'wierd shit' are you talking about? If its nothing dodgy what's the problem?

FunnyNameHere Tue 18-Aug-15 00:19:22

I think if you can't imagine explaining the contents of your phone to your DP without the conversation ending in suspicion, anger or upset, then you know you're doing something dodgy.

If my DH looked through my phone, I'd be embarrassed, possibly ashamed, and slightly humiliated -- my search history reads like Bridget Jones's diary -- but not concerned that he'd think I was cheating.

Onepot Tue 18-Aug-15 00:20:06

Weird not wierd

AnyFucker Tue 18-Aug-15 00:30:56

incomprehensible, sorry

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt Tue 18-Aug-15 00:46:25

CatMilkMan, just spit it out will you?
Anonymous site, you know.

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt Tue 18-Aug-15 00:49:16

Hang on. Have you googled a Happy Ending massage parlour or similar, because of a thread? I'd just delete your history, if that's the case. My search history would be pretty colourful if I left every MN inspired search for all to see.
