We aren't boyfriend and girlfriend yet. He has booked a hotel for the night in a different part of the country and we are going for dinner. I've never stayed overnight with a guy before (except at their house) and have no idea what to take. I don't want to take a mini suitcase Incase it looks too much haha so do I just pack the essentials for the morning after - change of outfit, make up etc. sorry if this sounds a bit dumb but I'm so nervous but also so excited for a whole night away together!! :) x

Toiletries, hairbrush, make-up + change of outfit for the following day should fit into a small holdall or, if the change of outfit doesn't amount to much more than a dress, a large handbag/briefcase.

You'll also need a selection of board games, playing cards, Kindle or half a dozen books/magazines in case he can't get it up you have a disagreement. Grin

Toiletries, make up/remover/wipes. Pyjamas, clothes for evening, next day. Hairdryer? I'd be inclined to make sure to pack condoms (don't rely on him!) And a bottle of wine! Take a book/tablet/kindle (and earphones) he may fall asleep before you and you don't want to be bored if he drops off and you're sat twiddling your thumbs!

Toiletries, makeup, hairbrush, outfit for next day, extra spare pair of knicks just in cases, condoms, lube, surprise sex toy if that's your kind of thing Wink, book/phone charger etc for self-entertainment if needed.

Enjoy!

How about a small cabin size suitcase you can't fit a lot in them anyway but would be perfect for overnight?

I would take a holdall size bag. Everything you'd normally pack if you were going away for the night, plus condoms, lube, sex toys if you're into it, and a pair of robust ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones in case he snores.

You're not boyfriend or girlfriend, but you're going away and sharing a room, and there's an expectation of sex? If you haven't kissed yet, how do you know you'll be happy to share a bed with him? Do you have your own transport and enough funds to pay for a room if you decide you don't want to stay with him?

Assuming your chemistry is smokin' I would take essential toiletries (assume hotel will provide soap, shampoo etc), condoms, lube, sexy nightdress, change of clothes for next day.

Hope it goes well.

Hermoine we are seeing each other but nothing "official" as such! I stayed with him numerous occasions it's just a bit different going away together :)

Don't take a book. Nothing says, I don't hold out much hope for tonight than a selection of reading material.

Pack very light. You don't need more than a casual overnight bag.

Wear jeans/skirt, and take a top for Day 2
underwear x 2 (nice undie set for dinner; fresh pants for Day 2; maybe a spare pair in case of some weird emergency)
toilet bag (with condoms)
(pared-down) make up bag
nightwear only if you've of the 'what if there's a fire?' persuasion (in which case, there will be sheets/dressing gowns to wrap yourself in, both of which will make you look more intriguing/sexy to fellow guests than a stout pair of wincyette pjs)

And that's it. Get your hair done/do your hair and style out the next-day bed head look rather than carting half a salon's worth of dryer/shampoo/serum, etc with you. Two pairs of shoes max, unless hotel also has assault course and you think you might need trainers.

Maybe your bikini if there's a spa? I'm always torn on spas in hotel minibreaks. On the one hand, a massage is nice as is a dip in the pool, but on the other, if you've gone for minimal packing, there's a high Frizz Risk in wafting around in steamy atmospheres, and hotel dryers/mini shampoos are no one's friend.

Oh yes, and obviously, something gorgeous to wear for dinner!

Ah, ok, you're fuck buddies - now I get it.

Nice - enjoy your weekend away. I'm proper jealous! Grin
