Is this possible? I feel like ever since I had it put in im INSANE
dp has done a lot of shitty things in our relationship, and whenever I question then about it recently I get so mad I feel im going insane. I punch myself and kick walls and things and tried to strangle myself with a shirt ffs. I BIT MY ARM like an animal. I'm sure its got a lit worse since this implant, I unfortunatly had a termination but o didn't really want the implant because hormone stuff I think makes me a boy crazy but didn't want to argue cause she said it was the best one
Dp makes it worse and doesn't understand but then I can't really blame him of im acting that mental. He makes it worse sort of he just starts calling me childish, a cunt and a bitch etc it just winds me up more.i end up feeling like i just want to die. but he's not exactly wrong but I can't help it.
I feel like I am actually insane just completely insane and I don't know what to do. I have bruises all over my thighs, last tome I gave myself a black eye, I've got a fucking bite mark on my arm!
I don't know what to do. i feel so so desperate I just don't know what's happening to my mind

Get to your GP URGENTLY and get it out! Then see how your moods change, although it sounds really like you could do with getting him removed too - how can he stand by, watch you in this state and furthermore deliberately exacerbate it?

is this possible ? No, I don't think it's possible.. I personally think you're exaggerating. And, if you're not then I suggest you get to your gp immediately. But, that's common sense I suppose.
If my Dp called me a c*nt I'd be out the door regardless of his reasons for calling me one.
Yep, get to the doctor.

I feel your pain OP. My DP has done a lot of shitty things which most people would get angry or upset about but I have literally thrown furniture across the room, tried to PUNCH him, I mean I'm a bit of a hot-head sometimes but nothing like this. I had the implant fitted a couple of months ago. It has made me very irrational. Not only has it made me absolutely rage, it's made me get upset easily. For example, I'm always on at DP because I feel like he prefers his friends over me. Now I tagged him in some photos of us on Facebook a while back and he never accepted them. I asked him about it and he said oh I don't really use Facebook. Weeks passed without accepting so I untagged him. Then he went out with his mates last weekend and was tagged in photos with them and he accepted them straight away. I got so upset. Over bloody Facebook photos. I honestly feel like I'm not in control of my emotions and I feel like I'm spiralling sometimes. I too had my implant fitted after a termination. How long have you had it? I know that GP's are often reluctant to remove them.

I don't think the implant has anything to do with it. I would ring an ambulance if I saw someone doing the things you describe.

No, this is not likely to be due to the contraceptive implant, at all.

But it does sound like you might be unwell, and I'd definitely say it would be a good idea to seek medical attention asap.

Your 'D'P sounds like an unpleasant arse - does he add to your life in a positive way at all? If not, bin.

Just thought I would add, I suffer with anxiety and depression so although my hormones are going crazy due to the implant, my mental illness is most likely not making my behaviour any better

When I had the implant I went totally off my head, I really could have stabbed someone, so much so I begged my GP to take them out. I gave myself a year just to let my hormones level out, I felt much better for it. I don't get anywhere near as angry as I did with them in, I've finally got the old me back.

Im not exaggerating that would be a really weird thing to do?
I heard its hard to get the go to agree to take it out I dunno how to get him to agree?

Show the GP your bruises and bite marks, I would have thought that would do the trick, surely?

I have known several people who's reacted very badly to it, to the point of self-harm, so it's certainly not unknown. I've never had the implant but reacted similarly when taking Clomid.

I don't want him to think im a crazy person and report me to social services or something though

The gp can't refuse to remove it . You don't need to get him or her to agree. It's your body and its up to you what contraception you use.

OP, I don't think your exaggerating at all. I coulve wrote your post. The shitty past with dp, the termination, followed by the implant and me turning crazy!
I'm sorry to say I'm glad im not the only one.
Go go go get it removed, I'm getting mine taken out asap.

God yes. It turned me into a absolute wreck.
One morning I had a panic attack because I didn't like the way my trousers felt :S
I constantly cried and made arguments out of thin air.
I had to really push to get it taken out though, the doctors kept telling me to keep it in and wait for it to settle!

OK, do you have DC at home? The only reason the GP would be mandated to report to SS is if you spoke about threatening to hurt your DC, or that they had witnessed you throwing stuff around, cursing or whatever.

If you don't have DC then it's pretty irrelevant, TBH mental health services are so stretched he might possibly put you on a waiting list for counselling but you're certainly not going to get sectioned or anything like that.

You could ask to see a different GP at the practise if you don't get on very well with yours?
