so this morning I woke up looking at girlfriend and she was like what u looking at and stop staring at me all with an attitude and it's made me wonder, why am I with someone who has a go at me just because I like looking at her in a morning, I do it every morning before I go to work and even when she's asleep and now I'm not allowed to look at her? WTF?

I know she was running a bit late for work, she said I was looming at her like I was angry with her, this was my just getting up look

It can be kind of awkward when someone is staring at you when you're trying to sleep, makes you feel all self concious and weird, she should have said it nicer though

You sound odd to me. I wouldn't want to wake up to dp staring at me either.

Maybe you were putting her off getting ready??

Are you nuts? I'd hate to wake up and find dh just looking at me!

There's a difference between gazing fondly at someone and glowering at them.

Which were you doing?

If she asked you to stop, then stop! End of.

I still remember a time when ds was about 2 or 3 and I woke up to find him awake and quietly staring at me! I nearly shit myself with fright. Very eerie and unsettling Shock

If I woke up and someone was staring at me I would start screaming.

Perhaps she feels embarrassed that she looks a mess, or is dribbling .

Back off.

We're you terribly close to her face? Like, about a centimetre?

Report
teatrailer · 11/06/2015 21:51

A centimetre? bloody hell.

I was just waking up and she was about 3 foot away getting ready for work, now I was still tired and thought it was odd that she was up before me, thought I was dreaming still Smile but she said stop staring at me so I was like fine! so I turned over and looked at the opposite wall

No, you are not allowed to stare at her or she will think you are a creep. Are you a creep?

Maybe you were half asleep as you said you thought you were dreaming, and so unwittingly you had a thousand yard stare?

I love looking at my husband when he gets ready in the morning because he looks hot.

I don't leer at him but I like looking from a distance.

So maybe I am odd as well OP Grin

Did you have a smile on your face? If you were just looking at her without smiling then it could come across as if YOU were the one in a mood.

Grin. How old are you? It's OK until you're about 23 and then it's creepy. I have stared longingly at people and them at me Grin and it was romantic. Any older and sorry I would be running and not looking back!
