so this morning I woke up looking at girlfriend and she was like what u looking at and stop staring at me all with an attitude and it's made me wonder, why am I with someone who has a go at me just because I like looking at her in a morning, I do it every morning before I go to work and even when she's asleep and now I'm not allowed to look at her? WTF?

IAmAShitHotLawyer Thu 11-Jun-15 21:35:02

maybe she was just in a bad mood this morning

timelord1912 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:37:40

I know she was running a bit late for work, she said I was looming at her like I was angry with her, this was my just getting up look

idokidok13 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:37:55

It can be kind of awkward when someone is staring at you when you're trying to sleep, makes you feel all self concious and weird, she should have said it nicer though

ginmakesitallok Thu 11-Jun-15 21:38:11

You sound odd to me. I wouldn't want to wake up to dp staring at me either.

idokidok13 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:38:49

Maybe you were putting her off getting ready??

pictish Thu 11-Jun-15 21:39:49

Are you nuts? I'd hate to wake up and find dh just looking at me!

goddessofsmallthings Thu 11-Jun-15 21:44:10

There's a difference between gazing fondly at someone and glowering at them.

Which were you doing?

AndTheBandPlayedOn Thu 11-Jun-15 21:47:30

If she asked you to stop, then stop! End of.

TheCowThatLaughs Thu 11-Jun-15 21:48:54

I still remember a time when ds was about 2 or 3 and I woke up to find him awake and quietly staring at me! I nearly shit myself with fright. Very eerie and unsettling shock

teatrailer Thu 11-Jun-15 21:49:18

If I woke up and someone was staring at me I would start screaming.

Perhaps she feels embarrassed that she looks a mess, or is dribbling .

Back off.

LineRunner Thu 11-Jun-15 21:50:05

We're you terribly close to her face? Like, about a centimetre?

teatrailer Thu 11-Jun-15 21:51:46

A centimetre? bloody hell.

timelord1912 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:54:49

I was just waking up and she was about 3 foot away getting ready for work, now I was still tired and thought it was odd that she was up before me, thought I was dreaming still smile but she said stop staring at me so I was like fine! so I turned over and looked at the opposite wall

AlternativeTentacles Thu 11-Jun-15 21:55:27

I do it every morning before I go to work and even when she's asleep and now I'm not allowed to look at her

No, you are not allowed to stare at her or she will think you are a creep. Are you a creep?

timelord1912 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:57:38

plus I can't get too close to her face in a morning her breath stinks lol

also I like just looking at her, I sometimes think how beautiful she is sleeping and I have piece and quiet lol

timelord1912 Thu 11-Jun-15 21:58:29

did I say I stare at her! no I didn't I look

Kleptronic Thu 11-Jun-15 22:07:12

Maybe you were half asleep as you said you thought you were dreaming, and so unwittingly you had a thousand yard stare?

U2TheEdge Thu 11-Jun-15 22:08:21

I love looking at my husband when he gets ready in the morning because he looks hot.

I don't leer at him but I like looking from a distance.

So maybe I am odd as well OP grin

EquinoxEclipse Thu 11-Jun-15 22:12:31

Well this is weird.

LineRunner Thu 11-Jun-15 22:14:28

I saw him first, Equinox.

Quiero Thu 11-Jun-15 22:21:02

hmm

I wish you were my boyfriend.

pocketsaviour Thu 11-Jun-15 22:21:28

Did you have a smile on your face? If you were just looking at her without smiling then it could come across as if YOU were the one in a mood.

LineRunner Thu 11-Jun-15 22:23:14

Can you describe your face? Is it like this biscuit

bialystockandbloom Thu 11-Jun-15 22:26:05

Why are all the good ones taken <sadface>
