Does anyone go into an argument with their partner knowing your right and come out be convinced your in the wrong?

Somehow he always manages to convince me that he's right, he has an excuse for everything. He's so quick as well and I'm really not, I'm no good at arguments because I always have a mind block. And after the row I always think to myself 'what made you bring that up, when clearly your in the wrong?'

No, if I'm right im right.

Likewise if I'm wrong im not one of those who always has to be right.

did you "know you were right" or did you "think you were right"?

for example? If it's about how something made you feel, then he can't just say that you were wrong. Or do you mean he claims that factual situation was different than what you remember?

Can you give an example?

Is he one of those who always have to be right about everything? Are you not able to say 'that may be your perception/opinion but it's not mine" when he's intent on confounding you?

Hi thanks for the responses Smile been a bit busy with school run, dinner bed etc... So we have been together since we were 16, we had our 1st child at 20, now before children when I was 18 we separated and I had a relationship with someone else I never ever cheated and as far as I know nor has he, but... During the last few years he found a fascination with a girl down the road he has never meet her but I have through friends, anyways while I was pregnant he would be searching for her every day on social media, while pregnant I also had a breakdown and ended up in hospital... He still carried in. Tbh I wouldn't mind if it was a celeb but everyday searching for the girl down the road!
Well when I confronted him he will say he'll stop but justify it with me being with someone else when I was 18? To me this has no comparison as we were young, I was not with him and we did not have a family... Am I right to be angry
