Hey, even right decisions hurt. It's not easy. But will be ok in the end. Big hug.

You may miss him now but from what you've said he's not the one for you.

The pain will fade, it always does. I know it's hard but you have to keep yourself busy and try not to think about him.

Oh! So now he's a friend without benefits? That is sad.

sumoweeble Sat 06-Jun-15 23:00:46

What is your thread about magenta?

MagentaVitus Sat 06-Jun-15 23:03:01

My dickhead ex and his beautiful life. I'm pissed off he didn't just dissolve off the face of the planet when we broke up like I wanted him to. It sounds ridiculous when I put it like that - its in relationships though. I am ridiculous.

sumoweeble Sat 06-Jun-15 23:18:42

ugh! Sounds like he is a twatweevil. Do you have a beautiful life?

MagentaVitus Sat 06-Jun-15 23:26:25

Yeah I do actually. Not at the minute though. But on the whole I've been dealt an excellent hand.

sumoweeble Sat 06-Jun-15 23:30:37

Good. He'd probably be jealous if he facebook stalked you.

Sounds like you have been through some very tough and confusing times recently. I have never had a friend with benefits and while the thought is very attractive in some ways I can see that there is potential for massive hurt in this type of situation. You are feeling rejected both in terms of losing his sexual intimacy and of being left wondering if he even wants to be friends, when you have experienced him as devoted and a real source of support. That's a big double loss.

However, I do wonder about the way he has treated you. Blowing hot and cold, being clear he doesn't want a relationship with you one minute then changing his mind only to then dump you... I accept that fwbs sign up for a relationship of convenience to an extent and that there is an expectation that either or both might meet someone they feel more committed to but I think it sounds like he's been more about the benefits than the friendship. He doesn't sound respectful and kind.

Are there any real life friends/family you could talk to? Would some counselling help?

hmm. He sounds like a right chancer.angry 8 dates before he tells you about this? I wonder what he has told the person he is dating. This is someone who keeps his options open and wants to have his cake and eat it, I strongly suspect. Are you angry with him? I think his behaviour is outrageous the more I think about it. I can see why your friends might think you are better off without him.

I would just ask him to return them. Or arrange a time when you can pick them up?
