I'm not sure if he was abusive or he just didn't think .
The horrible thing is I wanted him back but all he wanted is sex , that why I went down the mates line.
Didn't expect to even kiss this bloke let alone what I did on a 3rd date.

I have weekend sort of date with someone from Rl. Older guy, ex of a friend. She sings his praises all the time so we'll see: I'm slightly meh but he is great fun.

Secretservice Fri 06-Sep-13 10:23:08

Next time you fancy a seaside trip Snameless go a bit further down the coast and visit meeee! No nakedy beaches, but there's meee! And yes aloe Vera or sudacrem for the soreness

Looby grin at Henry, so pleased it's still going well. Same to Kirsty and all the other woo-hit loved-ups

Very little to report on OD front. Had an ok date last week with Poet, would've met again but only wants to meet if it's at least a whole, 'relaxed day in the country'! Yeah right! I'm going to lose a whole day with my kids after working 5/6 days a week for a man I've met once!

After being bombarded with texts and calls - most of which I guiltily ignored - about his 'very good poetry' and wasting energy trying to play down his expectations, I emailed him to say it was all too much for me, that we wanted different things etc etc. He replied that's fine, 'courtships should be slow' and he's a 'very patient man'. Arrrgggghh!

I don't have to reply do I?

kittykat10 Fri 06-Sep-13 10:35:17

I'd not reply if it was me .

lubeybooby Fri 06-Sep-13 11:04:50

I wouldn't reply again SS

Bant Fri 06-Sep-13 11:07:54

Checking in.

secret I'd reply with something like 'I'm sorry, I've only met you once and it's a little early for you to 'court' me. I think its best if we didn't meet again' you freak

kittykat10 Fri 06-Sep-13 11:31:06

Ok men are like buses! Taken me since April to get Mr car to meet me but he is sweet ,kind and well made me blush , but now two messages of guys I met on pof ages ago.
I'd given up on any chance with Mr car especially since the guy who introduced us doesn't talk to me anymore, so started to chat to these blokes after being dumped , now I don't know what to do.
I got ripped apart on here for sort of moving on so fast from bf but when I knew Mr car regretted not seeing me I knew deep down bf wasn't right for me.

Mr car well I liked him before meeting him , maybe I'm making more of it than I should but there something about him, do I go for dates with these others or concentrate ok on one I really like.

We have had 3 dates all have been all afternoon / day things and been so nice.

To be honest I like him and I'm a bit confused , he taken me at face value he wasn't fazed when I said I had eating issue.

hostesswithleastest Fri 06-Sep-13 11:50:08

He sounds great actually kitty and remember the right man will not be phased by your eating issue.

Poet sounds an insensitive nightmare! Delete!!

OhWesternWind Fri 06-Sep-13 12:27:02

I do not like the sound of the Poet SS! (Have you read any of his poetry by the way? Can imagine that situation being excruciating). Either ignore or send a very clear No Thanks message.

Kitty it's still early days with MrCar so if you feel like it would be a good move then meet up with the other guys. You're not committing yourself to anything by going on a date. I wonder why these other guys have popped up again - did they ask you for a date first time round? I think if it were me I'd concentrate on the one I liked but I know other people would do the opposite. Really depends on what sits right with you.

Snape all is sounding wonderful for you apart from the sunburn Wedding Stakes have you, 49 and Tigsy as front runners . . .

Glad all is well with you and Henry, Lubey

I am on a hot date tonight whoo hoo!! Can't wait to see him. Have missed him a lot this week.
