DH has left. It's all over. I've told him I still love him, but I can't be in a relationship anymore. He accepts it, promises to see children and be there for all of us.

Feel so sick. How did my life become this?

What happened? Why don't you want to be in a relationship anymore?

Hi,

Posted previously, DH has an addiction to porn, sex lines, strip clubs, prostitutes, etc. I thought counselling and time would help... It hasn't.

By the sounds of it you have made the right decision then, I hope it gets easier now you have done the hard part, times a great healer!

What issues with DH do you struggle with?

Time will help, not him though, you

How are you today op ?

Bit better thanks, although feeling the pressure from all sides to try and work through it. I can't. It went on too long and hurt me too much. I found out nearly six months ago and since then I've been trying. I just can't let it go. I can see I'm going to get labelled as the "bad guy" for splitting our family up

OP think of what's good for you and the kids, take a day at a time, be brave. Sounds like you definitely did the right thing so well done for having the courage. Things will get easier and with distance, you will see the damage he did in so much more focus. What does "work through it" mean - are you under pressure to give him another chance? You are not the bad guy and no-one could imagine that.
