and I hope it's not premature. I don't know if any of you here will remember my original thread a year ago about my fuckwit, bullying, controlling, nasty STBEXH...here is the original thread...

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/a1396110-To-not-allow-my-child-to-fly-to-the-states

and all sorts of fuckery has gone on since then but today I got an email from my whiz-bang-pop-world-leader-international-child-custody-specialist-divorce-lawyer today....

I WON!!!!!! All his arsewipe-fuckery demands have been dismissed save for giving him a bare minimum divorce and I can kick his arse in a couple of months time for child support AND all the back child support he owes to...without opening myself up to personal jurisdiction of the court.....I so want champagne right now.....

Cor, missed patch's comment!

It must've been a very sweary congratulations from someone desperate to be divorced.

Hurray for freedom!

I'm holding off proper celebrations until I submit this project proposal I'm working on, on Wednesday.

In fact, I can celebrate the fact that I can work hard on it, without having arguments and a "child" pestering me for attention.
Current bloke is basically leaving me to it and being supportive, instead. :)

Hurray for current/future blokes!

Sounds good so far....

I'm celebrating by having an oops but very much wanted LO in July and generally looking around me and smiling at all the little things that I couldn't enjoy or even notice because I used to be o weighed down by fear, sadness and worry.

I know, LO, bit quick some may think..but the man walked out of my life over two years ago and if I'm truthful I was already ready to move on around 18 months after he walked out...I was just really good at lying to myself.

That was supposed to be 18 months BEFORE he walked out...oh, I'm also celebrating by internally thanking the OW for getting her claws into him and doing me a huge favour - may she enjoy her prize!

Crunch - I had a glass of surprisingly pleasant low alcohol wine. And lots of chocolate! Snoop - karma's a bitch! Perhaps I'm being childish, but after the hell he's put me through - the lies, the game playing, the bullying, the good cop bad cop routine...all that shit I feel so vindicated!

trust congratulations! I'm in the 2013 gang too, just waiting to sign the Consent Order before the Decree Absolute in March.

Feels funny to celebrate something I never expected to happen to me. But it is better than still being married to him!

Congratulations on the baby too. :)

One more reason to be even happier about the divorce. :o

Thanks Lueji! Two years down the line is a LONG time to wait for a flipping divorce - suppose that's what happens though when one partner has a affair and then wants everything exactly how they imagined it would go!
