Relationships

Daft or avoid?

Been seeing a man, guess it's a fling at the moment but could turn into a relationship. Not introduced the dc's and he has none. He prefers women to be shaved completely and wear plain white cotton pants. (I have no problem with this if it's just myself involved) but - Am I overthinking things here/being daft or would you avoid entering into a relationship with this man if you have young dd's? (I am a bit more sensitive to things like this due to own experiences - but the above reminds me of young children!).

I wouldn't like it as I don't like having a man dictate how i should look to 'please them'

I've never been with a guy who has had such, umm specific preferences, so this would give me the willies to be honest.

Well, I wouldn't depilate, but I would dress up.

As you've reached the stage where he felt comfortable in raising such a preference, you needn't be inhibited in asking what fantasy underlies his preference. If he's evasive, you might want to think again if you fear he's unduly interested in prepubescent girls. If however it turns out it's say tennis players, you might decide it's OK.

Depends.

A preference? We all have those.

It would depend < for me > on how the topic came up and exactly what he said. Him insisting you do it and/or banging on about it, is very different to you asking him specifically about his likes/dislikes and him venturing this as something he quite liked.

What puds said.

What's your relationship radar like?. Where did you meet this person (online?).

I would avoid a relationship with such a person regardless of whether I have children or otherwise.

Avoid. If you like someone, you take them as you find them, and don't prescribe how the should appear just to please you.

Avoid.

And if you dont, then take a LOOOONG time before you even think about introducing your kids.

Avoid. That preference does seem to reference children - no public hair, plain kid's style pants.

I would feel v uncomfortable introducing him to any young girls.

Hmm. Can't imagine asking a potential partner to do that. Wierd.

I don't think it is necessarily an indicatior of an interest in pre-pubescent girls, rather it is the modern trend for women to take the lot off (not that I am on board with that at all).

Personally though I wouldn't want someone to dicate to me, so I would probably not carry on a relationship because he sounds like a bossy twat.

Ah yes... he states a preference for the shaven look and he MUST be a paedophile Hmm That makes an awful lot of them knocking about.

Maybe the OP should come back and explain a little more about the context.
