Want to leave partner but not my kids

Hi everyone,
I have been with my partner for more than 15 years and I have 4 children with him, I want to leave him as I feel that I do not love him any more to stay with him, I have felt this way for such a long time but have just carried on because of the children, I am now at the end of my tether where I feel the resentment is setting in and I dislike the site of him, fed up having to play happy families when I am screaming inside. I do not want to leave them, but want to be single. I feel so bad as he is a great man he would lie down and die for me has his faults like we all do but just don't want to go on pretending any more. We have talked about it over and over and it is agreed that I go and live with my dad till I sort myself out but I don't want to be without my children, I would still be there for them just not living in the same house, it is totally breaking my heart and I'm feeling I hate myself so much. I cannot stay just for the sake of the children, he will not leave, what do I do.....

Is your partner a sahp?

Can't you sort out a place to rent with your DC and have 50/50 care of them?

Do you think your partner might be using the thought of leaving your children behind as a way to keep you there?
