She's warm, loving and furry.

Oh, a relationship with a human did you say?

He is a warm, funny, hands-on, active father to our girls. Seeing him with them makes me so happy I want to burst.
He participates in the running of our household (although sometimes he has to be asked/reminded)
He is a great son in law to my parents - helps them out as much as he can and engages my Dad in conversation (Dad, who is knowledgeable and interesting and lovely, can be hard to engage in conversation as he's gotten quite deaf in his old age. It takes work to talk to him. DH is great with him).

Making each other laugh.
Cuddly chats in bed at the end of a long day.
Animated talk about politics/setting the world to rights together.

He turns the electric blanket on for me in the winter and lets me warm my popsicle toes on his calves at other times
He makes me laugh and I love making him laugh
He's a loving fun hands on dad to our boys - i love hearing the 3 of them giggling away and splashing away in their big boys baths at the weekend

I love waking up to see his face in the morning - makes the day start right!
He is a wonderful father to our children and works hard to provide for them.
He has a great sense of humour and gets on well with people.

Works very hard to provide for us, but still comes home and helps tidy the house.
Is a very hands on dad with dd. More than happy to change nappies, get up early with her etc.
Is the funniest and sexiest man I know.
I feel very lucky!

He is the nicest person ive ever met :)
He loves me and supports me in the ways I need and is understanding of who I really am and my quirky nature
We laugh a lot and really do provide a perfect balance for each other.

What a lovely thread Grin

Works hard for us and never ever moans about it.
Is so very understanding and doesn't rise to me when I have PMT and being a bitch.
Is a brilliant dad, much more patient than I, gets up with them in the night just because he doesn't mind seeing their little faces.

I'm not in a relationship, but I love making lists of things that make me happy so I'm going to share mine anyway!

Tulips (the deeper and darker purple the better)
Sleeping naked
Standing at the top of a hill and being able to see a really long way.

Only 3?

He "gets" me utterly. He totally understands me and I don't have to explain anything.
He works hard all day and still comes home and helps me in the house or to cook dinner.
We laugh all the time...
He's incredibly considerate, loving & kind - to me especially, but to others as well.
He's honourable, trustworthy, patient, tolerant...

I know that's "5" but I could go on for pages. :)

In one word... He's amazing.

I know I already posted 3 'meaningful' things but did I mention:

His legs
His eyes
His bum
?

I don't like to go on about it, cos I don't like making everyone else jealous Grin

Seriously, though, I suppose we're both quite ordinary looking people, maybe even a bit 'plain' - but I caught a flash of those legs getting out of the shower this morning and felt (on a grey morning with a tantrummy toddler and just about everything being annoying) a little flutter .... he manages to be the best 'quick! POO EXPLOSION!' tactical partner in the whole word in one moment, and make me weak at the knees in the next.

If I could wave a magic wand, I'd wish for everyone's DP to be as nice. and have as nice legs

He tells me I'm beautiful, even when I'm feeling anything but.
He loves my cat as much as I do.
He encourages me in what I do.
He makes a great cup of tea. Brew

Not in a relationship but Might be soon >winks< so will list the things that make me happiest (right now);

1; Seeing my little boy (Aged 3) smile? He lights up my life with that smile always.......

2; Hearing her (a lady I'm more than a little enamoured of & she me) on the phone - love her voice & talking to her & our connection which feels like a click you get when it just feels perfect right.

3; Reading - I love reading & am so good at it? That despite being a real mess in other areas of my life? I always feel at home & equal to others when reading - Have loved it since I was a boy & still do now - I demolish books the way others do meals LoL.

In a very new relationship so...

  1. Thinks I am beautiful and fantastic (my ex said I was ugly and horrible)
  2. Always has to hold/touch some part of me - like he cannot bear to let me go (sigh..how gorgeous is that?)
  3. Makes me feel totally relaxed and chilled. I used to be a very stressed and anxious person but since I have met him even my children say that they have noticed the difference in me
  4. Amazing sex...like REALLY amazing!!

Haha! OK that is 4 but well..number 4 certainly makes me vair happy Wink Grin

I am chronically ill and can sometimes be bedbound for weeks at a time. DH does EVERYTHING for me and DS at these times, and loves me despite the burden. At one point I decided that we should seperate so he could meet someone well and have the life I think he deserves. He went NUTS and was having none of my plans. Thank god, it would break my heart to be without him. Plus I adore his mother and couldn't be without her either!

He lets me be me - and never questions who I am

He supports my personal decisions

He understands that sometimes he isnt enough (and never complains when I sit on the phone for ages to my friends)

Report
Lottapianos · 17/10/2012 18:53

He lets me cry my heart out whenever I need to and reassures me that I'm not going crazy (depressed and anxious due to family problems)
I still get excited about coming home to him every day
most days I think of something - a joke or a silly story - that I can't wait to tell him
