DH midlife crisis

I've been dreading this one for a while. DH is never ever satisfied with anything. I knew this when I married him, and at least it stops me getting bored. He turns 40 this year, and I can feel it drip drip drip already. He's moaning that we don't travel, don't have exciting jobs and lifestyles. Big row last night, as I hadn't cooked him a romantic meal, or bought wine for valentine's day (I got him a card, chocs, made a nice, but not very romantic spag bog, and bought him a nice pudding), but the children were up and I was still in my work clothes! This morning, he told me that I am too happy with my life, don't aspire to greater things, and that means that he is doing all of the compromising. He's sulked off to work, and not called. Aaaaaaaaah!!! I just don't know what to do. I spend my life trying to hold it together (two children, work part time etc etc etc). It's going to be a tricky year.
