DH has worked for B&Q for a long, long, long time. Company restructure means Stock Manager and Service Manager positions in all stores are being made redundant. Some existing managers will be offered a new Deputy Manager role. Consultation process has begun with redundancies mid July.
If DH is offered a DM position will this affect his right to redundancy? Would it be considered suitable alternative employment (even though it's more work/responsibility/money)?? So, if he was offered the role could he decline it and take the redundancy?
