Welcome..... I'd concocted a longer title with all sorts of references to bitch stitching and pasta bakes, but was thwarted by the pesky character limit

Thanks for new threadnotdead.
Please no more catastrophes, maybe they will fling open the barn doors and there will be a donkey, cow, sheep and a young woman with a new born.

Death of Rosie in a fire would be a bit grim, though. No, surely not?

I know! I know! The barn catches fire, Rosie is endangered, Rex heroically saves her but is hospitalised with injuries, and Jill is overcome with gratitude that the Sacred Grandchild has been saved and vows that from now on she will love all Fairbrothers. Everyone gathers at Rex's hospital bedside where Pip and Lily compete to see who is to look after the wounded hero. Neil and Jazzer organise a rota to look after Rex's pigs. Russ complains that Lily is ignoring him and huffs off to spend Christmas with Lara, who has offered to cook him a gluten-free roast with vitamin-enriched gravy if he comes back.

...Too much??? Grin Grin Grin

Great title! Thanks for the new thread, BOING.

Just a reminder that spoilers are forbidden on this thread. We can talk about anything that's gone out on the programme but the Radio 4 teasers, Radio Times soap column and so forth are all restricted to the separate spoiler thread also in the Radio Addicts section.

A Whiff of Snell sounds like a Sunday night drama Grin Thank you for the new thread!

Thanks for the thread.

I was wondering whether Russ might not be so desperate to have Lily back if he could work out a way to convince the amazing neighbourhood vegan café (the one that made it worth getting a flat so far off campus) to give him food on credit.

Late to this discussion but in our house tuna bake is crisp because the topping is.. crisps! Not exactly gordon blue I know but it is very satisfying.

Grin A Whiff Of Snell as a Sunday night drama - brilliant!

I saw Nadiya (the one from Bake Off who now does other shows, she's wad floating around Cambodia yesterday) use crisps as a base for a chocolate tart, so you might as well put them on pasta!

chrisps instead of breadcrumbs wirk really well.

I noticed today that Lily said ‘ a perfect opportunity to get started on some artwork’ in other words Russ has done sod all as yet.

Mini I noticed that too. He sounds so very needy, it would make me want to run a mile. I do think Lily will see it eventually though, I think the cracks are already showing.

Thanks notdead and bittermints!

I find it hard to believe that Jenny thought it was a 'hippy fit'.

I imagine that raising Kate could leave you with that kind of misunderstanding.

Surely even the TA sw's know that conveying a property takes longer than 3 weeks, especially when it involves carving off a house from a larger piece of agricultural land? Hmm
Perhaps they expect Usha the legal fairy to wave her magic wand!

willywilly crisps dipped in chocolate are huge in northern Japan, we used to stick up on them when we went there skiing when we lived in Asia. Mmm.

I agree that a conveyance within 3 weeks in the run up to Christmas is utter nonsense but obviously just a plot device. I think it must be Peggy.
