Can I just add that we're not supposed to post spoilers on this thread. Once an episode has gone out, we can say what we like about that, and of course we can speculate about what might be about to happen, but not quoting the BBC's teasers or any other source with advance access to programmes/summaries. We've got a whole separate thread for that.

I agree with the pp on the last thread who thought Christine seemed manipulative last night. She was really playing up the frail little old lady routine to wheedle her way into another while at the Laurels at Peggy's expense. I didn't use to think of her like that(I don't suppose I thought of her much at all). I wonder when the rest of the family will find out what's been going on, they seem to be dragging it out.

I’m also now amusing myself with two images of you, ppeat - wearing enormous ear defenders like a road mender whilst you tend your mum (is she an Archers fan?), and puzzling over how to “activate the lettering” which is a wonderful phrase and will be how I refer to making links henceforth

I have a nasty feeling of foreboding about the Christine storyline. She has decided to linger a little longer at the Laurels (wow. didn't plan all that alliteration), and come back to live with 94 y.o. Peggy some time later this winter. Christine is assuming that Peggy will still be around and that Chris will have a home to come back to.
