Reposting this week's summary. I'll update the daily spoilers when digiguide or The Archers' website update.

Radio Times
18 - 23 June
In a scene that seems inspired by a Barbara Cartland novel, Lilian – a woman caught between two men - is thrown from her horse, only for Matt to come rushing to her rescue. In true conniving Crawford style – it soon becomes clear he wants something in return…

Tom attempts to call Justin's bluff by demanding a higher price for Bridge Farm, only to be left standing when an angry Justin withdraws the offer completely.

Freddie evades college, forcing Elizabeth to get tough and cancel his allowance. He has the last laugh when he secures a picking job from Adam. But there is chaos at the pickers' introductory drinks when a fight kicks off after local lads gatecrash the event.

Radio Times
25 June to 30 June
The Bridge Farm land deal is finally signed, but there's still plenty of tension between Pat and Justin, while Tom and Helen are squabbling over how to spend the money. Looks as if we can expect family relations to remain at all-time low for a while yet.

Over at the crease, Rex defends Anisha in the face of Will's attitude to women on the cricket team. Such gallantry leads to the burying of the hatchet between Rex and Anisha, but they look to be keeping the relationship casual. For now.

Eddie, meanwhile, reassures Clarrie about his over-the-top advertising methods. When Lynda finds out, she is far from impressed and comes up with a plan.

Radio Times
2nd to 8th July

Harrison is ousted for tricking the team into recruiting women players, resulting in the broiling mass of barely suppressed rage that is Will Grundy. Expect brickbats rather than cricket bats as Will seeks revenge.

Lynda is also getting her fellow villagers riled up. There are crossed wires with Fallon over the organisation of the summer fête. And then comes the prospect of Lynda and Lilian being forced to work together on Speed Watch – will this bickering duo ever call a truce?

Finally, Tom is still furious with Matt, thanks to his costly interference over the Bridge Farm land deal. But it soon becomes clear that Tom isn't Matt's only enemy in Ambridge…

Radio Times
9th to 14th July

You'd have thought a birthday would be cause for celebration, especially so for Lilian is usually the first to break open a bottle of gin when word of a party hits Ambridge. But when it comes to her own big day, she is far too fearful about the secret of her true age being revealed. Plus there is the small matter of a gift from Matt that's bound to result in huge problems between her and Justin.

We also have Jill left furious when she discovers that the Happy Friends café is to lose its premises and be replaced with a new high end restaurant, owned by the wealthy Duxford sisters. Plus tragedy strikes in the village as Shula receives a devastating phone call…

Report

That's likely. In the scheme of these RT snippets, the Shula comment is a bit of an afterthought so probably a misdirection of sorts. Ho hum!

Wonder if the unexpected Grundy visitor will be Ollie, back for the funeral?
