Some new things, some familiar. Interesting.
I haven't heard about it but will look it up.
Interesting but a bit disappointing. The conclusion seems to be that if you look hard enough then you can find misogyny everywhere.
This must be where I bless my lack of imagination. I don't read a book and put myself in the starring role. I don't think that I am the girl in the red shoes; I don't think that I am Eve. I'm just reading something about some(fictional)body else's fictional life. I look at RL, not books. You must have heard me rant enough about TA to know that fiction riles me more than it shapes me.
I would now like to hear the misandry book club.
The last one, about Fifty Shades of Grey, should be compulsory listening for any woman who raved about the book.
Sigh. What about the menz so early in the thread.
