Back last night. Up to his usual incredibly high standard, I thought!

I love David Sedaris!

His books are great too (I read them in his voice in my head) Grin

I would too, Moonrise! We went to one of his recordings a couple of years ago. Hardly any re-takes necessary. Very impressive!

I love his R4 show but no nothing about him at all. Off to find out more...

Link to BBC Radio 4 i-player here. First of six half-hour episodes! Bliss. Smile

Thanks Gaspode. Unfortunately I'm not in the UK so can't use the player I'll have to rerun some TAL episodes, I think.

I thought i-player radio was available everywhere? We certainly have some non-UK Archers listeners keeping up via the website...

Oh, I'll have a closer look so. I can do downloads and podcasts from BBC, but I seem to be missing or somehow blind to, an iplayer "button".

Wow, that was embarrassingly easy to work out! Blush thanks!

I find him so droll and his nasal voice annoying that even if he is saying something that could be interesting I just turn off the radio.

Do you mean dull? Gosh. I love his voice and even if I didn't he is so funny I'd persist. However, each to her own.

Thanks so much for the link, bookmarked it.

My regret = my family live in Chapel Hill and a couple of years ago I heard on the local radio that he was giving a reading in Raleigh. Ds, who would have been up for it, was away on a trip and my dil wasn't interested in going. a lovely girl but just sometimes we're not on the same wavelength. Sad

He is appearing at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea in February but it's expensive!
