If you listened to it, if it's not too insensitive could you please share with me as to why I have been advised NOT to listen to it?

Thankyou.

I didn't hear it but have googled and it seems to be about egg donation. Does that answer your question or do you want a bit more of the plot? I don't know if it's a happy ending or not.

Thankyou.

I have a 6mth DD from egg donor after 18 years of trying (hence my name) & my parents said I should hear it then did a complete reverse.

I'm tryjng to work out if they're being over-protective or if I'm made of stronger stuff than they think.

Is it worth me Googling in your opinion? I'm very realistic & accepting. Any info you can give will help me decide whether to pursue or not (I hope)

On the other hand maybe I should respect my parents judgement.

One thing I read on the talk talk site seems to imply the donor, who is Spanish, may have donated through sheer economic necessity, ie money.

But the bbc site:-
'The Spanish egg belongs to Ines, who understands the need for children. She and her husband Rai are suffering from Spain's economic troubles and selling her DNA seems like a solution. But she also has a generous spirit.'
That seems ok to me, there's nothing I have read to make me think it is harrowing, just an interesting moral dilemma type story with some people too poor to dwell on the decisions they may have made in better times.

The two women don't meet, I think the play is possibly the conversations between them, their husbands and the 'pompous, God-like gynaecologist'.

Thankyou all Smile

I've actually just had an email from my dad telling me he wants me to focus on what I now have, rather than what we went through.

I'm a tad confused though as in the real world Spanish donors remain anonymous & as such can't be met anyway. I'm sure the writer got her facts correct.

My mind is rested now - thankyou xx
