For fellow haters of Count Flamin' Arthur Strong, I have terrible news

There is going to be A TV Series. Written by Graham Linehan, ffs. I'm crushed on both counts. I loved Father Ted and Black Books. Though I should have seen it coming with The IT Crowd (Noel Fielding being the honourable exception).

I shall cry.

And yes, obviously I Don't Have To Watch. But this is TaxPayers' Money, ffs (channels inner Tory). We could have another nurse...

O God. I hate Count Arthur Strong the radio series, but DP loves it.

Neither of us liked Black Books, though - but maybe just didn't watch enough to get in to it.

I found it reasonably funny the first time I heard it but they may as well put te same episode on repeat. there is never anything new - it's the same old joke.

won't be watching

Princess, does your DP normally laugh at things that are not remotely funny?

Habbibu, mostly we find the same kinds of things funny, so I can't account for this aberration.

Habbibu, what do you mean by 'Radcliffe and Maconie'? Is that a goodie, or just a new form of torment?

No, no - BBC6, afternoons. Excellent music and chat. Truly splendid.

Phew, for a moment I thought you were going to say they were replacing sorry I haven't a clue with the horror of count Arthur. Thankfully I don't have a tv so can just pretend this madness isn't happening.

Oh Dear, this is terrible. It was bad enough on the radio without having to see him. What kind of incriminating pictures does he have of the BBC controllers??
