Bugaboo Bee Sun Canopy

Does anyone know if the 2010 Breezy sun canopy will fit the old Bugaboo Bee? Alternatively, does anyone know if anywhere still stocks the 2009 Breezy sun canopy?

There are some 2009 new ones on ebay here They're a fair bit cheaper than the 2010 breezy too!

I don't think the 2010 canopy would fit - the hood bars look a different size to the hood bars on the bugaboo bee plus.

I bought one and can't believe you have to take the canvas off the bars and fit the 2010 breezy canopy to the same bars - I would have thought for £49.99 they could've put a set of hood bars in it - yes that £49.99 price tag is just for the silvery fabric/mesh on it's own!!!

It is good when fitted - although rather fine fabric - my 2y old has snagged the mesh already - and he hates it!

However, I'm sticking with it because it will be used if he has a nap and I feel proper sun protection is really important - especially as he's so very fair/blonde.
I'm trying to bribe dc that it's a "house" and get him to play peekaboo at the windows until he's used to it.

Multimummy, thanks and at cost of silvery fabric alone - the cheapskates!! Well have poss managed to track one down in John Lewis but am not convinced that it's the right one, will let you know later. Thanks so much for the ebay link as well.

If anyone else is still watching this thread, I managed to track one down in John Lewis for £40 but they fitted it for me whilst I waited, and having see how fiddly it was, it was possibly worth it!

Just wanted to update and say our 2y old is now used to the breezy uv canopy and it's getting lots of use. Gives more shade than the standard canopy while leaving him more visibility thanks to the mesh. I found reclining his seat one notch and putting the canopy fully up works as he can still see me. If he's bolt upright the hood obscures his view of me and that's when he attacks it! Lol
I only need to undo the zip if he's fully reclined at nap time.

no they won't the bee+ hoods are different to the old bee hoods, the old bee hoods are bigger, [cover more]

i suspect it would be old one off ebay, but you could always contact bugaboo customer service who would be able to tell you if they can still supply them
