Hi, I'm entering the mine field that is purchasing a travel system. I kind of had it down to the Mothercare My4, Babystyle Oyster or iCandy Cherry, but like Trip Advisor what one person loves the next hates. Last week I received a brochure for the M&P Mylo, does anyone have one and if so what do you think? All I can find online is that Gwen Stefani has one, which isn't helpful when choosing what is best for impending bump to baby and that it's expensive, so not sure if it's even worth the money!

thank you x

To me it looks like it would break, it just looks sooo flimsy and shock at the price!

That is bloody ridiculous. I got EVERYTHING new for less than that when I had Ds (only 11months ago).

I like the mothercare My3

Looks hideous and way overpriced, if I was buying again I'd be looking at the M&P Sola personally...

Thanks both of you, price somewhat horrified me too, same as the bugaboo chameleon without the 'trendy' name!

Lifeas3plus1, do you have the My3 and if so are you happy with it,I don't know anyone with one?

I really like the look of the My4 but it has a mixed review on Which?, where as the Oyster is their top Best Buy (a friend has it and is very pleased with it). A friend's mum works for m'care and I can utilise their discount but am not sure if i'm just being swayed by the My4 for the sake of the saving.

I personally think the Mylo is fugly! I am also shock at the price!

I would go and have a look at the My4 in a Mothercare and see what you think 'in the flesh' so to speak - certainly looks like excellent value when compared to the Mylo. I can't review it though, as I haven't had one.

Best of luck - I reckon it was harder to choose a pushchair than it was to choose a new car!!

I don't have the My3 but I tested it out in Mothercare when my Ds was about 4 months old.

I really liked it but went for a Britax pram instead which was very similar and cheaper. (It had to be cheaper it wasn't my 1st pram, or indeed my 2nd or 3rd. blush )

how many prams have you had!?! I don't think i've ever been so baffled by a purchase in my life and i'm the queen bee of shopping!

I've had a play with the My4 and took hubby to see it today (he was rather uncomfortable when I suggested he pushed it about to see what he thought, which I thought was most amusing). But he did like the look of it and the MAN in Mothercare was SOOOOO helpful and honest! It's rather lovely in the apple green and has a little ladybird embroidered on the hood and alphabet interior (not a reason to buy I know, but very cute all the same). But I did like my friend's Oyster when I was pushing it around yesterday. Why can't buying a pram like a pair of shoes, multiple pairs...

i have the mylo and have had it for now about 2 months as i and i love love LOVE the mylo, i love the carrycot as its cosy and my lil girl slept in it every night as i got the stand too so you dont need to get a moses basket (saves you about £130!) i have started to use the pushchair bit too as its lie flat and my lil girl is so comfy in it...its great to push, so easy to use and a really sturdy and quality bit of kit...i would defo spend the little bit extra as it is definately value for money...i guess you get what you pay for ....

Have just purchased a Mylo for our daughter...fabulous pushchair. Super easy to fold and glides beautifully. Sister had a Bugaboo Cameleon (Mk2) for her baby.
Loved that too, but folding down was a nightmare. Did however love the chunky wheels on the bugaboo...Mylo ride for the baby isnt as smooth over rough ground. 4 out of 5 for both. Both have a couple of minor niggles. But u do get what u pay for.

I would buy the babystyle oyster, the Mylo's fugly.

...or maybe the M&P Sola which looks much more sturdy and has a decent sized shopping basket.

I personally quite like the Mylo depending on the colours. They have a massively reduced (about £400 or so) ex display one in both Birmingham and Solihull stores so you could see if your local store has it reduced too.
My sister has an Oyster and it's a good all rounder I'd say. Mothercare sell it so you could still get the staff discount. Also, don't forget that Mothercare price match so look around for the best price and get Mothercare to match it if it makes it cheaper than using the staff discount.
I like the look of the seat of the My4 but it's heavy and I don't know what the fold's like.
