traitors

They can't be worthy of 360 smackeroonies, surely?

btw, I already have a Frog (4.5 yrs old, was DS1's). I would be insane to buy a Bee too wouldn't I?

oh, and why do JL sell them for £417 still? They are £360/70 everywhere else. I thought the were "Never knowingly undersold"

They are cr*p. Totally hate mine. They fact that it reclines, turns on a pin , its compact , oh reversible, lightweight I can get one or the other child in it. Front and rear facing. The only thing I like is the silly price and the very silly price for the travel bag but I needed mine when I was in the Uk for 2 months....Sorry !

Well, unfortunately I'll have to echo the others - they really are quite nice. But - and overall I still love mine - there are some negatives:

  1. My first one's chassis fell apart. Apparently it's held together by 2 screws (or something, I might be making this up), one was never included (or fell out??), and it fell apart. I was walking down the road with ds, then still a tiny baby, thought it was going a bit odd, and within a couple of hours it actually slipped completely, so I had to carry ds home in my arms whilst lugging a damn broken buggy.
Bugaboo did replace complete chassis though, which was good.

  2. Heavy to lug up stairs whilst carrying a toddler. I really can't do it. Then, perhaps I'm just a whimp.

  3. Difficult to get ds in and out when rain cover in use.

  4. Very small snug now ds is a fat toddler. I'm about to buy a Maclaren in the next week or two. Ds is 17months old, but quite chubby.

Still love mine, but thought I'd list some negatives for you.

ruddynorah - How much did you pay for yours on Ebay? Should I just buy a second hand one? Or are they not much cheaper than a brand new one?

My dd is on a diet at 11 mths she is a tubby thing and she has to fit in it for as long as possible my 3.6 yr old fits in it but she is a slim thing

I bought mine www.babyboom2000.co.uk/ but it was via e bay and I got a bargain ( new) . Ihad it shipped to Italy and still spent less .

Ok, just seen one on Ebay. They want £350 for it, but it also has a "Make me an offer" option.

Thanks Bertie (I used to think the same but for some reason have fallen hopelessly in love with them) - I've pretty much made my mind up now

So how much should I offer for that one on Ebay then?
