Hi All,

Just want some advice.

Is it worth buying a double buggy/pram for new baby and daughter who will be 2years and 2 months?

Is a buggy board (?) better.

Not sure what to do for the best.

Thanks in advance.

Rach

Depends on the 2 year old, what the weather is like and how far you walk on a regular basis.

I have 22 months between my dc's and we have a phil & teds and an urban detour double. DD was born at the start of the winter (1 tomorrow ) and I didn't fancy a winter of trying to get her big brother to stay on a buggy board in all weathers while we walked to town / library / doctors etc. Much easier to plonk them both in the double and off we went. I have to say I would rather have stuck pins in my eyes than try and keep my DS on a buggy board, we did try one once and it was a disaster.

Hi there. I had a similar swither (DS1 was 23 months when DS2 was born), but ultimately decided to go for a double buggy. That was definitely the right decision for us - even though DS1 is a great wee walker (and scooterer too!) he still often ends up in the buggy - and it's great for containing him too, when needs must. I went for an Out'n'About Nipper 360 and it has been one of my best ever buys - lightweight, easy to steer and fits through pretty much all doorways. And the wheels pop on and off very easily if space (e.g. car boot) is limited.

Best of luck with your new arrival!
