Urgent buggy dilemna! Maclaren Triumph v Quest - or something else?

Hellos!

We need to buy a new buggy TODAY! We currently have a Phil & Teds as we have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. My daughter, the 2 1/2 year old, now refuses to go in the buggy and wants to walk (or often "help" push!), even when she's really tired. I'm thinking a buggy with buggy board may be the answer as its taking us ages to get anywhere.

The key is that the buggy must be compact when folded and fit accross our boot. I've done some looking and can't decide between a Maclaren Triumph or Quest Sport? Can anybody help? What are the pros and cons?

Any other suggestions will be welcome too.

Thank you in advance for your help.

depends what else you do with it
the Triumph has a shoulder strap which makes it fab for buses etc

but tbh either will be an absolute nightmare to push with a buggyboard

put a board on the P&T instead

Thank you! Are all buggies just horrid with buggy boards or are there buggies that are easier to handle?

the bigger, sturdier and more stable the pushchair the better it'll cope with the excess weight / drag of the buggyboard

so on (eg) a big three-wheeler or a sprung chassis pram thus you barely notice the bugyboard as the wheels are so big and the push so easy

on a small-wheeled rattly stroller that only just balances at the best of times it might be the straw that breaks the camel's back, esp goign up and down kerbs
