Pram smells of smoke

I have a pram and it smells of smoke, I washed it down with some non bio in the bath, and then steam cleaned it afterwards. I put all the removable parts in the washing machine as well but they still smell of smoke. It's not a strong smell but I can just still smell it when I smell the items closely. I'm a bit worried about doing any too vigorous cleaning as I don't want to ruin the fabric or dye it as it is completely black

Are you cleaning it for your baby or to sell? Personally I wouldn't put a baby, particularly a new born, any where near this pram.

@Alwaysthesun I'm cleaning it for my baby due next month. It was never a strong smell beforehand I just noticed it when I got it out of my cupboard to set it up for his arrival and thought a quick scrub would sort it however it hasn't

I mean, if you really have no option but to use it, airing it out would be a good start. I would put it outside if possible and let it get some natural air to it. It might be smoky and musky too from being stored. I would replace any fabric you can, and the cot mattress if there is one. It might take a few goes in the washing machine to get the smoke out, and strong fragrances will just mask the smell not get rid of it.
