Can anyone who has a Suzuki Alto recommend a pram/travel system that will fit in the boot.

I'd rather not change my car so need to find something that fits in my tiny boot. I think its 129 litres.

Probably your best bet would be to measure the opening and internal dimensions with a tape measure, then you can look online as folded dimensions are normally available. Pick out a few models which seem suitable and then go to a big baby store and ask whether you can try fitting the models in your car! It should be allowed if you have a staff member with you.

Not exactly sure how an Alto compares to my car which is a citroen C1 but I have a cosatto wow system and the wheels fit in the boot. Carry cot pram has to go on passenger seat. Also the iCandy with the removable wheels and the cosatto giggle fitted when I went testing. Nothing else would fit that I tried. Good luck!

I doubt you’d get the iCandy in the boot of a small car, even with removing the wheels (what a pain). With the carry cot I struggled to close the boot of my Golf. Providing you don’t need something suitable for a lot of country walks, I’d be tempted to go for something small from the offset. Look at the Babyzen Yoyo- it’s a full travel system so compatible with a maxi cosi car seat and has a proper newborn nest that then switches into a front facing stroller for when baby is older. The fold is tiny (it’s designed to go in an aeroplane overhead locker) so will fit in any car.

The bugaboo bee could also be worth a look. The fold on that is pretty tiny too and it’s very popular in our area, along with the YoYo.
