Mamas and Papas Sola 2 Foot Muff

Hi - struggling to make the foot muff fit properly - I went into an M&P store and they put it on for me but the top bit keeps coming off and is not secure. Also the bottom just feels too long, I am sure its been attached incorrectly.

Anyone also had issues?

It might be really easy!
