Hello 😊

I have the silver cross wayfarer pram/pushchair www.mothercare.com/prams-and-pushchairs/-silver-cross-wayfarer-chelsea-exclusive-to-mothercare/883607.html

I'm a first time mum and my baby is nearly 8 weeks old. He has good head control, he loves to be upright and is very nosey! So wondering when he can move into the pushchair?

As far as I know the one we have lies fairly flat. I can't find anywhere online or in the manual that suggests when he could move into the pushchair. It just says upto 25kg and for your 'growing baby'

When did you move your babies into a pushchair??

Thanks in advance x

The theory is lie flat for the first six months then you can sit them up right in the pushchair. Some people do it earlier.

I had to move my dd at 9 weeks because she is super tall. I bought a special insert and kept it fairly flat but is was great for her reflux.

Would a soft stretchy wrap sling suit better?

Keep him flat til 6month, or wear him in an inward facing sling,
When you transfer him to pushchair have it facing towards you, not outward.
It is vital for language development, and to limit overstimulation/stress.

Dd1 suffered from terrible reflux. So much so I put her in a push chair at 6 weeks, as she was so much better upright. It was a silver cross pop and I did recline it back.
