Uppababy Cruz 2017

Has anyone got the Uppababy Cruz 2017 model? I know you haven't had long to try it out but I'm wondering how it copes with grass and footpaths. I'm not talking extreme off roading, just everyday things like taking it to the park etc. It's got new wheels compared to the 2015 version which is why I'm being picky on the model!

It fits the bill in every other aspect for us! We need lightweight, big basket, forward and rear facing, can have maxi cosi car seat...BUT if it's awful on slightly bumpy terrain then it's a no go Confused

Thanks all!

No idea about the new 2017 version but a friend has an older version and absolutely raves about it. I have a vista and a glux but no personal experience with the Cruz.

Hi sparky thanks so much for your reply. Is the old version good with grass/gravel/footpaths then? I'm thinking if the old version is then the new version should be better!

I remember her saying that obviously it's not as sturdy and heavy as the vista and the wheels are smaller but far sturdier than any other stroller that she tried. I do remember thinking that I reckon it would have suited me better than the vista as it would have saved me from buying the glux. It has a huge basket and it's forward and rear facing so seems to tick every box. Have you tried it in the shop? What feel did you get from it?

Great, thank you. Yeah we loved it in the shop and thought it was really easy to steer and it did seem pretty sturdy - but then I'm no expert so don't really know how it compares to others! And have got into a bit of a worry about the wheels and whether they'd be up to some easy off roading... but we're going to have to carry it upstairs so the vista seems a bit heavy.

Thanks so much for your help!

Have you looked at the out n about nipper. It could be great for you. I had the double version and really loved it. If I was to have another baby (which won't be happening lol) I would look at getting the single. It was amazing to push.
