Best for living in a flat/city???

I am only 16 weeks but already getting stressed about finding the right pushchair. It's less the cost (I know it will be expensive and have braced myself) but more the practicalities.

We live in a flat which is up two long flights of stairs, and in the early days we're planning a combination of slings and leaving pushchair base in the shared hall (very safe, we know our neighbours well and secure front door) and carrying the carry cot up the stairs.

Has anyone in a similar situation got a good pram recommendations or - probably even more useful - tips on which to avoid??
