Best umbrella stroller 2nd hand?

I need an umbrella stroller that folds easily with one hand & is lightweight for getting my DS 2.5) around on the tube. Going to buy one second hand on eBay / gumtree for budget reasons. The only make I've heard of is Maclaren -- is it best to stick to this brand or can anyone recommend any others please? Thanks in advance

I'd recommend the Armadillo City. Very slim and lightweight, folds one handed and has a little carry handle. Have a look on YouTube for the videos shows the fold and other features.

I got mine second hand for 35. Paid 15 to have it couriered.

Thanks Napqueen -- sounds like you got a great deal, I can only find them listed for £100+ second hand, so you got a bargain! Would the armadillo city be suitable for a tall child do you know? My DS head currently scrapes the canopy of the bugaboo bee

Ds is 2.4 and when the hood is folded back it bunches on top of his head slightly (don't think it touches but it looks close). However when I pull the hood over I can see there's loads of room yet. He is about 2 1/2 feet.

You already have a bee? You need to check weights as u could easily buy a heavier umbrella stroller, which is presumably not the point!
Maclaren volo is lightest at 4. 5kg, (ok there is the maclaren mk 2 at less than 3kg but costs a billion pounds and i've not yet seen it second hand! ) also may be uppababy g-lite or chicco liteway.
