specific requirements! impossible?

I'm after the perfect pushchair.
This is dd3 so I've gone through a fair number of pushchairs strollers etc. And I've never been able to find one that 'does it all' for me!

These are my requirements:
Big basket
Fold without taking bits apart
Stand when folded
Fully recline + sit up
Rain cover (fold small no hard bits)
Able to attach universal buggy board that doesn't mean my toes get squished.
Able to attach carseat
Not too heavy/bulky

Preferences
adjustable handle length
Front and rear facing
Carry cot option


Is this an impossible ask?

I'm afraid it possibly is! If you want one that is rear and front facing, you'd need to accept that bits, such as the seat, are likely to need to come off before folding.

We had an iCandy Apple which meets all of your requirements except for the "folding without taking bits apart" criteria. Bulky is subjective so it may be too bulky for you.

I've seen pushchairs that fold as one but has an additional carry cot that goes on the top of the pushchair seat for when the baby is tiny and that faces the parent but the seat is forward facing

M+P armadillo flip xt? I love ours and it meets all of your requirements I think.

My silver cross pioneer does all that apart from the fold ones. It is in 2 pieces and doesn't stand up when folded.
Also have an armadillo xt which meets the fold standards. The flip xt would do the rest I think, although the basket isn't huge

on the face of it, the easywalker mosey ticks all your boxes! You can even fold in one piece with a carrycot on.

The baskets on some of them aren't quite big enough though. The graco ones tend to have v large baskets which I love. Obaby monty looks interesting too.

I wish you could start with components and build your own to suit!

Easywalker mosey ticks most of your boxes - unfortunately I don't think there is one perfect pushchair!

Also how about: the new Cybex balios? Or the new babyjogger premier? I have to say if I was buying now I'd get one of them

Uppababy vista could suit you very well. I adore the massive basket. Not sure where I'll put the shopping once DD no longer wants to use it...!

Another vote for Uppababy, we have a Cruz and I think it matches all your requirements. It can be used from birth with a snug seat insert, front and rear facing, folds easily. I don't know if you can use a universal buggy board but we have the Uppababy Piggyback board which works well.
Also has an adjustable handle which is great as DH and I are tall whereas our old nanny was wee!

Joolz Geo ticks a lot of those boxes. It has a huge basket - my main reason for choosing it! Adjustable handle and overall very good buggy if you/DP are tall. Rain cover is soft tent-type material and folds into a little pouch. Reclines fully both front and rear facing (although bucket seat so not lie flat unless carrycot)

Compromise is that it only folds in one piece when forward facing, not when rear facing or carrycot (although I'm not sure one that does all three exists tbh) and it is quite heavy, although I've found it easy to push and excellent steering

I can't comment on car seat adapt its or buggy board but I know they do make them for it.

I have a city mini as well.

It isn't parent facing (although carrycot is) and I wouldn't count the basket as being large or easily accessible. The GT model has an adjustable handle.

BJ have just released a new pram that has forward and parent facing options called the Premier/e. Haven't ever seen one in real life.
