Hello

We are going to buy a mountain buggy duet with one carrycot for a toddler and newborn who isn't due until July.

Has anyone got this buggy? What's it like to use? Does it fit in your car?

Xx

We have, although have only been using it for 1 week with twins. So far we have uses it with car seats on and with carrycots. Obviously it is big but still goes easily through our Victorian front door. It moves really easily and isn't heavy to push. It fits in the boot of our Zafira. So far we are really liking it.

Have a look at the out and about nipper, its lighter to lift and nice to push you also don't have to take the seat fabric off to put carrycot on which is usful when they gets a bit bigger or space is short. it also has loots of storage pockets.
Both very good pushchairs, mountain buggy have a new carrycot not sure it its available in the uk yet but it turns into a rear facing seat. Its called the plus carrycot

We have it. Still going strong after a couple of years. We liked the "pop up" when you go up a curb - the weighting makes it easy. This is not obvious with little babies but with a chubby toddler, it makes a difference. Our eldest still fitted in at 4 - we thought he looked squashed but he was happy with it. We didn't bother with carrycot, just put the seats flat which worked fine. Also usefully narrow. I would get it again.

We've got it for our twins. We love it. The carrycots also convert to parent or world facing seats, I think it's the only side-by-side that does it. We ordered our carrycots in Mothercare no problems :)
