Honest reviews on Lascal buggyboards attached to a Britax B-Dual please!

Hi everyone,

I really want some advice regarding a suitable buggyboard for a Britax B-Dual buggy.
I love the idea of the board in theory, especially as winter approaches and the need to rush in bad weather, but I bought a Mothercare board for our old buggy 18m ago and it was the worst £50 we ever spent. The board stuck out so far behind the buggy that I was bent double pushing the boys. After one use, we gave up, so I don't want to make another costly error.
Has anyone out there used a Lascal board on a Britax buggy, ideally a B-Dual? How did you get on? Can you still walk comfortably when it's attached?
Should I go for the Lascal, or the Lascal mini? Can they both hold children up to the 20kg limit I've seen on the main board?

Are you using the B dual as double? It'll never work if so, no room for the child to stand on the board.

No, just using it for DS2. Didn't purchase the seat or anything extra as DS1 wasn't going to get the use of them.

You need to attach the board bit as close to the pushchair frame as possible so you don't have the long reach. However I don't know if there is enough head height between the top of the board and the top of the seat for your DS to stand...

He may be better off on one of the sit on ones?

I didn't know you could get sit-on ones. Where do you get them?

No idea but this one here

Again you need to see how close it will attach to the frame.

Wow, thanks.
Just found there's seat attachment available for the Lascal board. Fantastic idea and DS1 would love it, but the board and seat together would set us back over £100, which I don't think we can stretch to.
