Chameleon - extendable sun canopy or breezy?

I have a Cham3 with original hood. For the summer am I better getting a breezy or the new extendable hood? We are going away so thought the breezy would be good but worried it might be chilly in the uk and also that the original hood might also be cold when we are in pushchair mode which will be in 3 or 4 mths or so. Thoughts??

I wouldn't get the breezy. You want to be able to put hood up and hang muslin over to make dark if needed for sleeping in summer evenings

We had the original hood on chameleon 2 and it was fine even when in Oman and Dubai. They didn't get hot from having no breeze ( and was 100% sun proof which breezy isn't)

Oh wait you already have a hood? In which case I wouldn't by any other, just peg a Muslim over where needed as sun shade

Thanks artandco so the breezy is too light then? Or in your mind just unnecessary?? douchbag am aware that is how bugaboo spell it but actually chameleon is spelt with an h.

Well we looked at it as its is very light inside pram with it. Both of mine liked the shade up so darker when napping, and a friend had to cover the breezy part anyway over mesh area with blanket as sun was always in Babies eyes, so defeated the point really..

I don't know. Personally I would say wait and use what you have, plus large muslin cloth/ thin blanket if needed once sunny and see how you go. They are fairly expensive seeing as mainly used for limited time as not even sunny that long in uk, and by next summer your baby will be walking often and a pair of sunglasses and sun hat will work better
