Hi I'm a new granny and I'm looking to buy a lightweight buggy to keep at our house. My first grandson is 5 months and my second is due in February. The two buggies I'm looking at (both Joie) are the Mirus and the Nitro. I'm very tempted by the Mirus but can't find any reviews. Can anyone help?

We bought the mirus and it's not for us. The handle is very low, though I am 5"8, so if you're shorter it may be fine. The main problem for me is the steering when parent facing. As the handle flips over, the swivel wheels are at the back so it's very difficult to steer. Again, if you only use it forward facing it would be fine - the seat is comfy and ds seemed happy in it, and the hood is great. It is light and quite easy to fold. We don't use ours, and it's only been used a couple of times. For postage I'd be happy to send it to you. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer Becky, I do want parent facing so if it's difficult to steer in that mode then I'll need to think again. Any helpful pointers will be much appreciated

We bought the m&p armadillo flip in the end, it was more than we wanted to spend but parent facing was important to us too. The other one we looked at was the baby jogger vue, but I didn't really want an umbrella fold.
