I'm just setting up my Xpedior pushchair and the instructions are utter bollocks. How do you clip the safety belt through the big white sheet thing when you're using it as a pram? There are only two holes so you can only get the clips through but not the thing they clip into. Can you not actually strap them in when it's in pram mode? Or does baby have to lie on the clips? How hard would it be just to write proper instructions? Angry

If it's one of those pram insert things then it's probably designed to be used without the straps. Hopefully you can put the straps to the side so the baby isn't lying on them

Is that safe? Are babies supposed to not be clipped in? Confused

In carrycots there are usually d rings to add a harness yourself.. a few have a kind of soft harness in. The britax one has a bit that velcros over the baby tummy. Some have a soft 3 point one.. i had something that did, can't remember what. But mostly no, no harness.

TBH, I would just clip the cosytoes in and forget about the liner. Cosier, too.

There's not anywhere in the pram for the clips to go though, so if I can't clip him in he's going to have to lie on them... there has to be something I'm missing but there's nothing in the instructions.

Can't you just unclip? Then add when he's in the actual seat? Baby carrycots rarely have straps as are flat and for use with small babies.

Otherwise you would need straps for Moses basket/ cot etc etc also

Wait, they unclip from each other if that's what you mean but you can't actually take them out the pram.

Daleybump Grin not a twat!! Is weird that they not strapped in I always think but I am going for a pram this time (expedior also!) as dc 3 winter baby and the carrycot soooo cosy for them when they tiny and it's so easy to left them in and out rather than faff with clunky harnesses when they little, plenty time for that from 4/5 months or so if you want them in pushchair seat by then, I can't wait! Also will be using a phil n teds due to dd2 but much looking forward to the expedior, seems a bargain and nice quality when I've played in the shop, hope you got it sorted.

Ive also bought the xpedior 3 wheeled pram, when its setup in the flat pram position it seems to rock back and forth quite abit like its unstable, have i missed something in setting it up?
