I was fortunate enough to be invited to the iCandy 80th Anniversary Celebrations last night where the Raspberry and new Peach / Peach Blossom 3 were unveiled.

I simply want to go.....ssssssssssssssqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqueeeeeeeeeee!!! because both pushchairs seem to be fabulous!!!

I am absolutely over the moon that the Peach Blossom 3 will have the option of 2 parent facing seats, and the Raspberry is the sturdy small light, parent / forward facing folding pushchair that I have been longing for.

Absolutely brilliant!

I was looking at the pics on their Facebook page earlier and the Raspberry jumped out at me! It looks like a cross between the Bee and Yoyo, did they give any idea on RRP yet?

I saw your FB pics and briefly considered having another baby just so I can justify buying a Raspberry Grin Unless you tell me that it would be perfect for an enormous toddler, in which case I'll sell my granny Strawberry and BJCMGT.

Any idea when it will be available?

I'm getting a Raspberry for my 3 year old whatever....so yes....I reckon he will fit just fine :)

Its due here in March / April.

The Peach Blossom 3 is worth considering another baby for though!!! It promises to be my perfect tandem - the Peach Blossom 2 is awesome but to have a parent facing option as well - thats just WOW!!! :)

I am just super duper excited!!!!!!

I liked the look of the raspberry but the hood looks a bit flimsy like the p&t smart - did you get close enough for a good look tiggy? Is it a Lycra stretch hood or is it proper canvas type fabric?

I believe its the exactly same as the Apple 2 Pear - so yes a kind of more errm stretchy type of fabric. TBH its one of the few things I wish was different. I like a good quality canvas hood.

Tiggy, on the Peach Blossom 3, do you know if you can have a carrycot facing you in the front/upper position and the seat in the back/lower position? Or does the carrycot have to go in the lower position?

Ah that's a shame. I wonder if its possible to customise it for a decent one

I like the look of the raspberry. Having loved my bee and now my bjcmgt, will this be the one to oust it? :) DD2 is 20 months, I haven't got long!

Ohhh tiggy, I love the raspberry, but I may have to start bding if I ever want to own one [sigh]. Just wondering is the baby pod that cosy toe looking thing the lady puts on the pushchair in the demo or will there be a carrycot?

I love my PB2 for my twins, but now they're seven months and in the seats it's so annoying not to be able to have them parent facing. I almost bought a Bugaboo Donkey for that option (but so glad I didn't as where I live I'd have struggled to go anywhere because of the width, and it didn't fit in the boot unless compressed). How I wish they'd launched the PB3 earlier. Buying one is not an option for me, sadly Hmm.

The newborn pod is the cosy toe thing which is being put on the pushchair in all the photos. I dont believe there will be a carrycot. I havent heard if the Raspberry will take a car seat either although in theory, both could well be made to fit into the seat sockets. The demo pushchairs were handmade prototypes and I know iCandy still had some tweaks to do. We will have to wait and see what finally emerges.

I can't wait to see some photos of the PB3. However based on the photo of the twin pushchair, the carrycots still face each other. I would imagine the carrycots still have to fit like this ie the lower one forward facing and the upper one rear facing. However, it may now be possible to put a toddler forward facing in the lower seat, or even parent facing in the lower seat along with the upper parent facing carrycot??? I am speculating though and we need to wait and see. Its Cologne starting I think next week, and I wouldn't be surprised if there is more about the PB3 released there. The focus was totally on the Raspberry at the 80th Anniversary party. I think if it hadn't been for some eagle eyes, the PB3 may not have been spotted amongst the new colours!!

Hi Tiggy
Any news on the PB3?
I have the peach 2 and now expecting DC2.
I would like to hold off for the PB3 adapters if possible for the parent facing.
However having a quick google it suggests the colours will be different, I would really like both pushchair parts to be the same colour, and the carrycot too. Is this possible do you know?

I think but am not totally sure that you will be able to use the peach 2 seats and buy peach 3 adaptor bars separately. But Tiggy will know for sure.
