Help toddler hates new BJCM

I blew the budget and bought a BJCM GT last week as a replacement for our rickety cameleon for my 2 year old. Used it a couple of times and he absolutely hates it and now screams at the sight of it . I think it's possibly because the seat is always so angled backwards rather than unright like the cam. Anyone had this and found a way to get the seat more upright ? I was thinking possibly some sort of foam wedge? Or shall I cut my losses sell it and buy a fold up maclaren ? The reason I went for the GT was I am taking the buggy on holiday in a few months we will be walking by water and I know the pathway is fairly rough terrain . DS is developmentally delayed so no where near being able to walk places yet Hmm

I recently had a gt, it sat pretty upright upright imo but you do have to work fairly hard to get it all the way up.. no child in the seat, making sure the side fabric is pushed behind the seat instead of in front, making sure you've got the recline toggle thing as far up the recline straps as possible. Stuff like that.

The cam in upright position is very upright, you won't be able to replicate that but it shouldn't be particularly angled backwards iykwim.

Someone could make a fortune if they designed a sit upright wedge. I've thought about how to do it- a wedge cushion with slots for the harness and something to fix it on the seat to stop it slipping and becoming a pita.

The 2011 sit upright straps on the BJCM were genius. I wish the hammock style Baby Joggers still had them.
