Buggy board for bugaboo donkey or stroll air duo...

This is prompted by a comment from Tiggy on another thread

Finally decided that given the nigh on impossible list of "essentials" I have for a double buggy, bugaboo donkey and stroll aur duo are the only options (unless anyone has a new brainwave now?!). I think our list of essentials is not all that bad, but..main ones are ability to parent face all the way through, both babies being able to see me/see out (ie not one right over/ under the other, not too much of beast to push (width or weight), ability for DD (will be 2.11 to hitch a lift somehow...

Anyway, for those (bugaboo and stroll air) which buggy board will work best. Tiggy says not bugaboo... Lascal? I am hopeful that DD will get better and better at walking so it won't be too terribly long term (9 months maybe?).

Thanks!

See I loved the bugaboo board, didn't find it slippy. Also didn't have it on a donkey though. I have a lascal mini now because I need the flexibility to fit it to anything and I have never felt it was as good. The maxi is probably better as it sits higher so you can fit your feet under. As you're talking about a side by side then walking behind it matters less as you can walk to the side anyway.. well I think you could, saying that it's not something I have done.

Another board I LOVED was the easy x rider not for a lot of walking but for a child that still needs a litttle more containment than a regular board it's great. I missed the twoo seat for the bugaboo board, they just brought one out for the new boards there having not been one for a few years. I would look at that too.

I love the bugaboo board also. It's built for buggy so fits perfectly, it clips on and off so you can pop in basket when not using, and it also fits up under bugaboo seat in parent facing mode in full or semi recline. The single wheel makes it easier for adult to walk alongside. It also is the perfect size for child to stand on with handle behind them instead of in front to make it easier for everyone

Every person using a lascal seems to be tripping over it as always in the way. We used the bugaboo board on cameleon with a 16 month gap fine ( you can buy a twoo seat for board also but we didn't), haven t had any problems in 2 years.

Ooh interesting. And I assume that using the bugaboo board wouldn't bugger the warranty either.....

If you buy new though, you will invalidate your warranty if you dont use the Bugaboo board Hmm
Like I said, I would invest in the seat to go on the board.
You can always try it without first but we found it really difficult to use on the Donkey - fine on the Cam or Bee though.

I've just bought the donkey and buggy board. Hasn't arrived yet but a friend has the bugaboo board and dd (2) loves it, it isn't slippy or massive, easily stored and DD isn't in my way.

Just to note if you're getting it for the donkey make sure you get the DONKEY adapter or it won't fit.
