My last pram was a silver cross sleepover which had a long pram body but some mice decided to take up residence in it do I now need a new pram for dc3.

Criteria

Tall handle as DH is 6'4" and I am 5'11"
Long pram body as we have previously had long babies (56cm and 57cm at birth)
Maybe something that can convert to pushchair as current one on last legs
Lie flat section as believe babies need to be flat when tiny
Light to lift and fold would be good
Easy to manoeuvre

Any ideas as I am not sure where to start

Mamas and Papas Sola!
Can lie flat plus 2 more positions, can buy a carrycot, and can change between rear and forward facing easily.

Oh, and the handle is adjustable. DH is 6ft and I'm 5ft3 and its fine for both of us.

Uppa Baby vista has a very generously carrycot. The handle would be good for either of you. It's not a real light weight but easily manageable. The other one I have is the cossato giggle comes witha carrycot and other accessories and is lighter than the other. I know the uppa baby will last better over the whole of the lifetime of its use, great quality and value for money.

Ive got the Maclaren xlr compatable with carrycot and car seat. Extendable handles for dh (mines 6'2). I love it!

Uppababy Vista - has the nicest carry cot you'll see and is also safe for overnight sleep. DD was in it until 4.5 months

I've just bought the new Mothercare Xpedior, very simliar to the My3/My4 - one seat unit that changes from a lie flat carrycot to a pushchair seat unit, adjustable handle, really light, steers well, HUGE basket, only £250 all in with carseat, pram liner, footmuff and raincover - easy to fold but it is a two piece.

For tall handles I would look at the UppaBaby Vista and the iCandy Apple.

Lots to look at here, thank you ladies.

I was thinking of the mini city as we had twin option before but lady at work tells me carrycot big is not very long. Off to google your suggestions now
Thanks x

There are three City Mini carrycots - the hard bodied one (hard to find) the Compact and the Compact Plus one. I have had my 2 year old in the Versa carrycot which is the same size as the Compact Plus (I believe) and he was very happy to snuggle in.
